This variety has large crimson paeony-shaped flowers that are fragrant. The stamens of this flower are deep orange with bright yellow tips. This variety has an added attraction of purplish green leaves that are flecked with maroon. It is an excellent choice for tub gardens or a small pond, but is equally at home in large pools. Its planting depth is 45-90cm.
