BURNBY HALL GARDENS – PUMPKIN FESTIVAL!
We’ve Halloween fun for all the family this half term at Burnby Hall Gardens.
FOR THE PUMPKIN FESTIVAL WE NEED THE BEST CARVED PUMPKINS!
If you would like to enter our pumpkin competition, please pick up an entry form from the Visitor Centre. Carved pumpkins can be delivered to the Gardens on Saturday 26th or Sunday 27th October so they can be put on display for the competition on Monday 28th October.
Half Term Halloween fun for all the family from Monday 28th October to Sunday 3rd November 10am until 4pm last entry 3.30pm. Winter admission prices apply.
Activities for the week include:
THE HALLOWEEN TRAIL: If you’re feeling brave, join us and go in search of scary skeletons, giant spider and other curious creatures in the Gardens!
BEST CARVED PUMPKIN COMPETITION: Vote for your favourite carved pumpkin displayed in the haunted Secret Garden.
Extra frighteningly good fun on Wednesday 30th October 10am until 3pm!
GHOST HUNT ADVENTURE: Wednesday Only: Celebrate Halloween by going on a Rusticus Ghost-Hunting Adventure! Our hapless professor is on the hunt for ghosts at Burnby Hall Gardens this Halloween, but the spooks and spectres are playing tricks on him! Help him make sense of his latest ghost-detecting invention and delight in making mischief in the gardens with a whole array of ghostly characters, in this fun Rusticus adventure suitable for even the smallest witches and wizards!
Outdoor performance walk, with games and activities! Lasts approx. 45 mins. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Dress for the weather! Ghost hunting adventure times are 11am, 12.30pm and 2pm.
SPOOKY ARTS AND CRAFTS: Wednesday Only: Crafts for all ages in the bandstand.
