Photography Competition 2019

Throughout the year, we actively encourage our visitors to take photographs that can be submitted for our annual photography competition. 2019 will be our fourth year of running this really popular event, and we really enjoy looking at all the wonderful photographs which are submitted.

The 12 winning photographs are included in a stunning Calendar for sale in the Gift Shop which, in turn, raises funds for the Gardens, and we would love you to take part.

The Theme:
The theme of the competition for 2019 is “A Year in the Life of Burnby Hall Gardens and Museum” and the judges will be looking for the photographs that best illustrate what makes this such a special place for everyone to visit throughout the year.

When Can Entries Be Submitted?
Please submit your entries during our competition submissions period which, this year, is between Friday 7th June 2019 and Sunday 28th July 2019. You can submit up to 3 entries per person and you do need to be 16 years of age or over. All winners will be notified by 15th August 2019.

Is There A Prize For The Winner?
A panel of judges will select the 12 winners and their photographs will all be featured in the 2020 Burnby Hall Gardens’ Calendar. The overall winner’s photograph will be featured on the front page of the Calendar.

All the finalists will receive a free Calendar and one overall winner will win a single membership for the Gardens for a year.
