Terms and Conditions for Re-Booking and Refunds

These terms and conditions apply specifically to re-bookings and refunds offered in the event of cancellations, including cancellations by Burnby Hall Gardens due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., adverse weather). They are in addition to our Ticketed Event Terms and Conditions.


1. Re-Booking Policy

1.1. Eligibility for Re-Booking

  • If an event or session is cancelled by Burnby Hall Gardens, you may request to move your booking to another available session within the event’s remaining dates.
  • Re-booking requests must be submitted via the provided online form by the person who made the original booking.

1.2. Priority Booking

  • Guests requesting to move their booking will be offered priority re-booking for alternative dates, subject to availability.
  • Priority re-booking is at Burnby Hall Gardens’ discretion and does not guarantee availability for a specific date or time slot.

1.3. Booking Limitations

  • Re-booking is strictly limited to sessions within the same event period.
  • Re-bookings cannot be carried over to future events or other unrelated Burnby Hall Gardens activities.

1.4. Deadline for Re-Booking Requests

  • All re-booking requests must be submitted via the online form no later than 1 PM, 7 days after the form is sent to the booker.
  • Requests submitted after this time will not be processed, and no further action will be taken.

1.5. Confirmation of Re-Booking

  • Once your re-booking is processed, you will receive a confirmation email.
  • Changes to your re-booked date are not permitted unless Burnby Hall Gardens cancels the new session.

2. Refund Policy

2.1. Eligibility for Refunds

  • Refunds are only available for bookings where a session has been cancelled by Burnby Hall Gardens.
  • Refund requests must be submitted via the provided online form by the person who made the original booking.

2.2. Refund Method

  • Online Bookings: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of booking upon request.
  • In-Person Bookings: Refunds must be collected in person at Burnby Hall Gardens. We will contact you to arrange this.
  • If you booked in person and requested a refund but do not arrange a day or come to an agreement to receive your refund by the stated deadline, no further offer will be made, and the refund request will be considered closed.

2.3. Deadline for Refund Requests

  • All refund requests must be submitted via the online form no later than 1 PM, 7 days after the form is sent to the booker.
  • Requests submitted after this time will not be processed, and no refund will be issued.

2.4. Processing Time

  • Refunds for online bookings may take up to 10 working days to process from the date of approval.
  • If the refund does not appear in your account within this time, please contact your payment provider before reaching out to Burnby Hall Gardens.

3. General Terms

3.1. No Transfer of Tickets

  • Tickets for events are non-transferable and cannot be resold or used by anyone other than the original booking party.

3.2. Failure to Respond

  • If no response is received via the online form by 1 PM, 7 days after it is sent, no refund or re-booking will be processed, and the original booking will remain unchanged.

3.3. Force Majeure

  • Burnby Hall Gardens reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to adverse weather, technical failures, or safety concerns.
