BAND SPONSORS

Band Sponsors are always welcome, and we would sincerely like to thank one of our Members who is sponsoring concerts by the Shepherd Group Band, Vintage Rhythms and the York Concert Band, and Pocklington Town Council who are sponsoring concerts by the Swinton and District Excelsior Band and the Humberside Police Band during the 2024 season. Their generous support is greatly appreciated.

SUNDAY BAND CONCERT PARKING:

We respectfully ask visitors coming to our band concerts to consider coming to the venue early in order to avoid parking problems caused by high volumes of traffic on band concert Sundays. If our own car park is full, alternative free parking is available in the council car park on Robertson Close, across the Balk from the Gardens behind the old railway station, and we ask all of our Visitors to please be considerate of local residents on busy days.

Owing to increased pressure upon the Gardens and cafe on these days, we now have a no coaches policy on band concert Sundays.
