If you’re visiting the Gardens on Saturday 22nd July, we have some fantastic performance art to celebrate the summer, presented by Apus Productions Ltd (Hull Carnival Arts), when there will be five giant butterflies to entertain you in the Walled Garden!
These larger-than-life colourful butterflies will gracefully make their way through Burnby Hall Gardens, creating a spectacular and beautiful image of nature at its best. They are accompanied by classical music played on a wind-up music amplification device called an Ambox.
Each performance involves young people from local youth groups, wearing fantastic giant silk butterfly wings created by Apus Productions, who are actively involved in the street theatre events which take place each year in Hull.
There will be three 30 minute performances at 11 am, 1p m, and 3 pm.
