Snowdrop Weekend

Start date: February 10, 2024

End date: February 11, 2024

Time: 1000 - 1600

If you’re visiting the Gardens over the weekend of Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th February, the focus will be very much on our snowdrops, with information boards and talks highlighting almost 100 varieties of these lovely flowers that we have here in the Gardens over the next few weeks.
Our weekend is intended to give our visitors the opportunity to see and learn about the individual labelled varieties that we have growing around the Gardens.
Snowdrop Talks:
For those with a desire to learn a little more about these lovely flowers, we’ve got two twenty-minute talks twice a day, Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th February, in our Meeting Room:
11 am and 2 pm – “Snowdrops for Beginners” by Jill Ward (Head Gardener).
11.45 am and 2.45 pm – “White Fever” by Peter Williams (Gardens Trustee and Horticulturalist).
Numbers will be limited to 25 people per talk, with tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis at no extra cost from our Events Table in our marquee on the day.

There will also be a children’s Spring Trail sheet for families.
